Texte courant en boucle le long des murs d’une galerie.
Travail réalisé pour l’exposition What’s love got to do with it qui interrogeait la notion d’épuisement. Le texte, circulaire, court sur l’ensemble des murs de la galerie Art-Cade. Il fait écho à son architecture (courbes, portes, décrochages – et au fait notamment que le lieu forme une boucle), ainsi qu’à la position et l’expérience du spectateur qui, au fil de sa lecture, est poussé à arpenter l’ensemble de la galerie, encore et encore, en boucle. Insaisissable, se redéfinissant à chaque instant, l’objet du message se confond avec celui du désir, moteur nous poussant à poursuivre – jusqu’à l’épuisement peut-être...

Text running in a loop along a gallery walls.
Work created for the exhibition What’s love got to do with it on the notion of exhaustion. A repeating text spans across the walls of the Art-Cade gallery. It echoes the architecture of the space (its curves, doors, angles, and circular layout), as well as the position and experience of the spectator. As one reads the text, one circulates around the entire gallery, again and again, in a loop. Elusive, redefining itself at every moment, the object of the message merges with the object of desire, a driving force that pushes us to continue – perhaps to exhaustion..
