Ce travail audio a été conçu pour Rubriche d’Aria. C’est un voyage sonore qui prend comme point de départ l’intimité de l’être et qui nous porte jusqu’aux confins du ciel. C’est une connexion composée d’air entre l’espace intérieur et celui cosmique. Une vibration de particules et une mise en résonance qui nous permet da traverser les différentes strates du ciel : le vent de l’atmosphère, le choeur des aurores boréales et le chant de la rotation de la Terre.

(1) Texte original : Autant que cela puisse sembler surprenant, il est nécessaire de se cacher pour re-devenir espace. À la surface de l’être, existe une région où dialoguent l’intime et le manifeste. Des mouvements imperceptibles et oscillants y sont nombreux, si chargés d’hésitation entre ce qui souhaite se montrer et ce qui souhaite se cacher. Il en est de même pour chaque espace. Et invisible à la face du ciel et loin des solides cachettes de la Terre, l’intimité se situe dans les heures creuses, à la lisière de la matière ou lorsque notre regard se dérobe, dans l’ombre de notre dos. Pour entrer en résonance avec un espace, il est alors nécessaire de le devenir.

(3) Les « ondes chorus » se composent de sons à courte fréquence croissante qui sonnent comme le chœur des oiseaux chantant à l'aube, d'où le nom de « chorus » ou « chœur de l’aube ». Sur Terre, les « ondes chœur » sont générées par les électrons dans les ceintures de rayonnement Van Allen. Une fois générées, les ondes chorus affectent les mouvements des électrons par un processus appelé interaction onde-particule. Les interactions onde-particule perturbent les trajectoires des électrons de la ceinture de rayonnement et provoquent la collision des électrons dans la haute atmosphère.

Cet appareil peut convertir les ondes radio en fréquence dans la gamme de l'audition humaine (20 - 20 000 Hz). This audio work was designed for Air Columns. It is a sonic journey that takes as its starting point the intimacy of being and takes us to the confines of heaven. It is a connection composed of air between the inner and the cosmic space. A vibration of particles and a resonance that allows us to cross the different strata of the sky: the wind of the atmosphere, the chorus of the northern lights and the song of the rotation of the Earth.

(3) The “chorus” is composed of short tones of increasing frequency that sound like the chorus of birds singing at dawn, hence the name of the “chorus” or “chorus of dawn”. The chorus on Earth is generated by electrons in the Earth’s Van Allen radiation belts. Once generated, chorus waves affect electron movements through a process called wave-particle interaction. Wave-particle interactions disrupt the trajectories of electrons in the radiation belt and cause electrons to collide in the upper atmosphere.
(4) These radio waves can be captured by the specially designed instrument known as the “astronomical interferometer”. This device can convert radio waves into frequency in the range of human hearing (20 - 20 000 Hz). Voyager and Hawk-Eye are among the many probes that record space sounds.
