La première tentative de capture et transmission d’images réalisées au cœur d’une démolition par foudroyage intégral aura lieu à l’occasion de la destruction des tours Genet, Hortensia et Iris du quartier Dunant / Collinet, le 26 juin 2011 à Meaux. L’objectif de cette première expérimentation in situ est de : valider la résistance de la crash box (une boîte blindée en métal de plus de 200 kilos qui protègera la caméra), visionner les images réalisées (par une caméra ordinaire DV pour cette première tentative), vérifier la bonne transmission des images tournées depuis la caméra vers le site Crash Box. La vidéo, pour la première fois réalisée depuis le cœur d’une démolition à l’explosif, sera diffusée en direct sur le site Crash Box. Une annonce de rappel suivra pour préciser l’heure de la transmission.

The first attempts to film and transmit images taken from within a demolition in progress will occur during the destruction of the Genet, Hortensia and Iris towers of the Dunant / Collinet district on 26 June 2011 in Meaux. The objective of this first on-site experiment is : to prove the resistance of the crash box (an armoured metal box of more than 200 kg that will protect the camera) ; to study the images taken (with an ordinary DV camera for this first test) ; to verify the correct transmission from the crash box to the Crash Box web site. The video, produced for the first time from the crash box placed in the heart of a demolition using explosives, will be transmitted live on the Crash Box web site. An announcement will follow to give the exact transmission time.
