Gasc Démolition
Gasc Démolition conduit les projets de l’artiste Anne-Valérie Gasc. Cette entreprise artistique détermine les stratégies adéquates aux modalités d’ébranlement du réel. Elle établit et expérimente les protocoles nécessaires à l’avènement de l’art par une tactique préalable de dévastation et de fuite. Ses propositions interrogent l’utopie de la table rase comme modalité de création.
Récemment, Gasc Démolition a procédé à l’étude et l’expérimentation de la démolition par onde sonore de la galerie Hladilnica (194 dB, Centre Culturel de Pekarna, Maribor, Slovénie, 2009), par sabotage hydraulique du Château d’Avignon (La Fuite, Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, France, 2009), par foudroyage intégral de la VF Galerie (Boum Blocs, Marseille, France, 2008) ou encore par embrasement généralisé éclair de la Maison Rouge (Blockhaus, Paris, France, 2006).

Le projet Crash Box
Crash Box installe le regard au centre d’une démolition par foudroyage intégral, temps fondateur d’une onde de choc. Chaque vidéo est tournée en temps réel, protégée d’une crash box et placée au cœur du bâti foudroyé.
Mené en collaboration avec l’entreprise GINGER-CEBTP DÉMOLITION comme un laboratoire de recherche, Crash Box se structure sous la forme d’un Atelier de l’Euroméditerranée dans le cadre du programme de Marseille Provence 2013.
Le compte à rebours est réglé au 31/12/2013, date de clôture contractuelle du projet.
Gasc Démolition
Gasc Démolition runs projects created by the artist Anne-Valérie Gasc. This artistic enterprise determines the strategies appropriate to their disturbances of the real world. As a priority, she establishes and experiments with the protocols necessary for the execution and general tactics for demolitions and for safe escape. These propositions question the utopian idea of the big bang theory as the source of total destruction as a means of creation.
Recently, Gasc Démolition has studied and experimented with demolition by sound waves in the Hladilnica Gallery (194 dB, Centre Culturel de Pekarna, Maribor, Slovenia, 2009), through the hydraulic sabotage of the Château d’Avignon (La Fuite, Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, France, 2009), by the sudden complete destruction at the VF Galery (Boum Blocs, Marseille, France, 2008) and even by widespead flash fire at the Maison Rouge (Blockhaus, Paris, France, 2006).

The Crash Box project
Crash Box places the spectator’s eyes in the heart of the total destruction of a site, the fundamental instant when a shock wave is created.
Each video is made in real time, protected by a crash box which is located in the heart of the building to be demolished.
Run in collaboration with the company GINGER - CEBTP DEMOLITION as a research laboratory, the artistic proposition of Crash Box is structured as a workshop within the framework of the Euro-Mediterranean Workshops run during Marseille-Provence 2013.
The countdown is set to 31/12/2013, the closing date of the project’s contract.
