| Selon les propres mots de l‘artiste, le travail de Mohammed Laouli est le point de départ d‘une analyse endogène en décomposant en éléments le monde autour de lui afin de déboucher sur une dissection totale, un état des lieux. Il explore les phénomènes qui traversent, difforment ou marquent la société. Alors que son processus de pensée comprend un élément d'engagement politique, l‘approche de Laouli est non-discursive. Il n‘a pas la prétention d‘être un conseiller, un professeur ou un politicien. Il cherche simplement à explorer sa vision et sa conscience, d‘instant en instant, parcourant les rues, les structures et les friches.
En même temps, son approche comprend une deuxième perspective: une réflexion critique sur les systèmes de pouvoir qui l'entourent: des systèmes politiques, culturels et économiques, et particulierèment les relations postcoloniales.

| Mohammed Laouli lives and works in Salé, Morocco and Marseille, France According to the artist‘s own words, the work of Mohammed Laouli is the starting point of an endogenous analysis that consists of decomposing the world around him, in order to arrive at a total dissection, an inventory. It explores the phenomena that cross, differentiate or mark society. While his thought process bears the imprint of political commitment, Laouli‘s approach is non-discursive. On one hand, he seeks to explore his vision and consciousness, traveling through the streets and the wastelands. At the same time, his approach includes a second perspective, a critical regard on the political, cultural and economic systems of power that surround him, especially the postcolonial relations between France and Morocco.
