La maison devient une mise à plat des éléments en kit de décoration de façade d’une habitation imaginaire. L’enfance, concernée par l’objet de départ (un petit objet de plastique blanc) prête la force de son imaginaire à l’adulte dans ses grands désirs de petites décorations pour l’habitat pavillonnaire de ses rêves… Pareille association de naïveté enthousiaste et d’ironie ou d’amertume se retrouve dans le travail en cours de Justin Sanchez, c’est sa part désenchantée…

The House
The house became the unfolding of elements from a kit for decorating the facade of an imaginary building. The original object (a small object made of white plastic) evoked childhood and extended its power of imagination to the great desire that adults have for small elements of decoration for their dream home... Similar associations of naive enthusiasm and irony or bitterness can be found in Justin Sanchez' work in progress, and correspond to the disenchanted part of his character…
