The work created for the Alhambra CinéMarseille in 1992 is inscribed over a limited period of time. As a matter of fact, this public commission realized in the context of the 1% artistique is composed of 9 silkscreened posters measuring 2m x 2m, renewed on the facade according to effects of time. Beyond the ephemeral aspect, the work has the particularity of being used as a logotype by the Alhambra and appearing on various communication supports. These posters were conceived from polaroid photos of television,a manner of restituting to the public space images culled from this medium which is equally public space. In October 1998 the last set of posters will be posted and the photoengraving proofs will be displayed inside the cinema.
