I began by writing a scene, then I applied myself to creating the circumstances for it to happen and for living it, both in words and
in flesh. I filmed and recorded seven women I encountered in the Shinjuku neighborhood: Rei A., Izumi H., Kana K., Keiko I., Sayo S., Saki H., and Nao W. I intruded upon their lives, pushed my way into the obscurity through the bewildering perspectives of an experimental film. |
