Souvenirs, souvenirs est une installation artistique qui veut raconter l’histoire photographique d’un passé toujours présent.
L’installation d’un kiosque à souvenirs, contenant des souvenirs photographiques, a été installé sur le lieu d’un souvenir, celui du quartier de la Gare à Fribourg, quartier en voie de rénovation.
Descriptif du projet :
1. Fabrication artisanale d’un kiosque en bois d’environ 5m2
2. Présentation dedans et dehors du kiosque de 800 photos carte postale (aucune vue d’ensemble, gros plan sur un détail indispensable afin que le souvenir ne disparaisse jamais).
3. Toutes les photos sont en noir et blanc, format 10 x 15 cm
4. L’ensemble est à comparer à la problématique d’un archéologue ayant comme mission de reconstituer un site.
5. Le travail photographique repose sur la réunion de sept photographes de la ville.

Souvenirs, souvenirs is an artist’s installation seeking to tell the photographic history of an ever-present past. The installation of a souvenir stand, containing photographic souvenirs, was installed on the site of a souvenir (“memory” in french), that of the Freiburg train station district, currently undergoing renovation.
Project description :
1. Handcrafted wooden stand measuring approximately 5 square meters.
2. The presentation on the stand’s inside and outside of 800 photo postcards (no overall view, zoom on an indispensable detail so that the souvenir will never fade).
3. All photos are black and white, 10 x 15 cm format.
4. The whole should be compared to the problematic of an archeologist commissioned to reconstruct a site.
5. The photographic work is executed by bringing together seven of the city’s photographers.
